After viewing this blog for a while it will come as no surprise that I have a great love for photography. From time to time photography and I have walked along separate paths, but we have always been constant companions. It is only right that my first post here - as well as one of my first public blog post - be one featuring a photo.
Right now, Japan is somewhere in the middle of hanami [花見] or flower viewing season. To most people in the western, hanami means sakura [桜] or cherry blossoms. Just before sakura is ume [梅] or plum blossoms.
