Something new for my iPad

(download)

Lately my iPad has become an all around companion when in class. I take short notes, looking reference information along with many other task. The real deal winner is carrying next to nothing with me everyday and still having access to everything.
I finally picked up a twelve south Compass for iPad the pass Friday at the Apple store. What made me decide on this - other than the twelve south name - was "typing mode" which you can see in the photos. Now my iPad sits at a raised angle to the desk. It is not only nice for typing but also many other uses. Of course twelve south products are always outstanding. I've only started to use it this afternoon so time will tell how it holds up.

Try to relax

(download)

Last month and a half has been non-stop for me. I reaching the point where I really need some down time to relax. Hopefully this weekend will provide a little distraction from the all the work I have been doing.
Since September most of my day to day life has become somewhat nocturnal. Well, fairly close to nocturnal. Taking classes in the late evening really isn't the best time for me. With all the delays I experienced during the summer months, I had no choice. I really look forward to the end of this cycle in December.
Earlier this week I went about making a sandwich the hard way. Having no bread in the house at 10:30 in the evening wasn't a good start to making a sandwich.
Now I live in a somewhat rural part of Michigan. Driving down the block to a store open all night just doesn't happen in this area. Actually the closes store is a 12 to 14 mile round trip. Not something I'm going to do.
Getting back to the subject, I recently bought my wife a KitchenAid Mixer to help out when she is baking. I ended up baking two loaves of bread to have a sandwich. It wasn't as much trouble as you would think. Here are a few quick photos taken with the iPhone after they came out of the oven.
On the Mac side of things. These photos where taken on my iPhone 3GS using Camera+ and the post was written using the new Posterous app.
